Hybrid-Electric Bus

This is a Thurston County hybrid-electric bus operated by Intercity Transit. I had a grandfather that drove a city bus in Missouri back in the 1950's and 60's. We also had street cars that ran over cobblestone streets on rails powered by electric overhead. I guess technology has come a long way after all.
